Five A activities

  1. Trace the big A

Start at red dot 1 and follow the dots to the ring. A finger first, then a crayon.

  2. Build an A

Lay three straws on the table: two leaning together, one across.

  3. Hunt for A

Find A on signs, boxes and book covers. Count them together.

  4. Say it out loud

A as in apple, ant and alligator. Take turns finding one more.

  5. Color the atom

The A practice page ends with an atom to color, then an A to light up.

The A practice page: an atom to color and rows of A to trace.
