# Letter B activities for ages 2 to 5

Easy letter B activities for ages 2 to 5: trace a big B with a finger, build one from things at home, and hunt for B’s around the house. Our free printable has a big B to trace from the red dot, and a battery to color.

## Five B activities

1. **Trace the big B.** Start at red dot 1 and follow the dots to the ring. A finger first, then a crayon.
2. **Build a B.** One straw for the line, two rolls of play dough for the bumps.
3. **Hunt for B.** Find B on signs, boxes and book covers. Count them together.
4. **Say it out loud.** B as in ball, bee and bubble. Take turns finding one more.
5. **Color the battery.** The B practice page ends with a battery to color, then a B to light up.

B is the b in ball: lips together, then a little pop.

### What age are these activities for?

Ages 2 to 5. Younger kids trace with a finger; older ones use a crayon and try the practice rows.
